Knittreat is an annual event that takes place on November 7-10,2019. We will be at the Wisp Resort in McHenry, Md.

Edie Eckman will be with us again this year.  Edie will be teaching 4 different classes. She will also be doing a book sale.

Kathy Zimmerman will be back again this year.  Kathy has been with the Knittreat every year it has been going on.

Bonnie Meanor will be teaching a class again this year also.

Nancy Chastain is going to teach jewelry classes. She is going to do a painting class as well.

Something new for this year will be a crank in.  Anyone who has a knitting machine is invited to attend for the weekend.  Kim Garver will be teaching a workshop to the circular machine knitter attendees.  On Sunday morning she is also going to have a class for the knitters who don’t own a knitting machine.  We will have extra machines to do the class. If you have never seen a circular sock knitting machine I encourage you to take the class.  She has a project that you will be able to complete.   During the weekend the machine knitters will be making socks for anyone who would like to have a pair made.  You can possible help to make your own socks.   You will need a skein of sock yarn.   There will be a fee to be paid to the owner of the machine.

Included in your registration will be all meals, beverage service, morning and afternoon snack, room, taxes and gratuities, all classes, goodie bag. When you register this year you will need to pay your complete registration to Knittreat.

We have a great weekend planned for you so plan to attend

You will arrive on Thursday for registration and reception.  You will have 2 classes on Friday, 2 classes on Saturday and 1 class on Sunday.

Friday night we will be having a fashion show.  Bring all your knit or crochet garments to show off.

Saturday night we will have a garage sale.  Bring any yarn, supplies, needles, kits  you would like to get rid of.  Place them in a bag with an index card with your name and the price you would need for the bag.  To buy the items you would find the person selling and pay or haggle with them.

Make sure you check out the classes you want to attend for the homework and information.
